Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has become the first British female solo artist to have five number one singles in the UK. Brits to be streamed live on YouTube for fans outside UK

This year's Brit Awards will be streamed live on YouTube for the first time for viewers outside the UK. However, the stream will not be seen within the UK where fans will have to watch live coverage on ITV1. Music fans from around the world will also be able to vote for best British video during the show using Twitter. Sam Bailey wins X Factor final

Sam Bailey has beaten fellow finalist Nicholas McDonald in the final of this year's X Factor show on ITV. The prison officer, 36, received more than one million votes and thanked everyone for choosing her before performing her single Skyscraper.
