Ed Sheeran’s X is top album of 2014 so far

Ed Sheeran's album X has sold more than 367,000 copies, making it the longest running number one album of 2014. It has spent four weeks at the top of the UK chart since its release in June. Michael Jackson tops UK album chart

The late pop legend Michael Jackson has topped the album charts, nearly five years since his death, with Xscape. The second posthumous album of his previously unreleased tracks features eight songs recorded between 1983 and 1999. It was reworked by producers including Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins and Stargate.
