Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field say they will “strenuously” defend themselves against claims of sexual harassment from a former employee.

Gilles De Bonfilhs, who was sacked for serious misconduct, has filed a US lawsuit alleging Ayda walked around half naked and asked him about sex.

A spokeswoman for Williams says: “The claims are entirely without substance.”

De Bonfilhs says Ayda was responsible for the harassment but the former Take That star failed to prevent it.

In the legal papers filed in LA, seen by the Sun newspaper, Gilles De Bonfilhs says of Ayda: “She walked around in various stages of undress, shared details about her sex life, questioned him about his sex life and asked him to answer questions and comment on her body”.

He is also suing for alleged discrimination, breach of employment contract, fraud and record-keeping violations, as singer Robbie, 41, and Ayda, 35, guaranteed his job would last six months.

The former PA and house manager to the couple wants financial damages from the couple but was fired in January after three months.

A spokeswoman for Williams said: “The claims being made by a disgruntled former employee, after he was sacked for serious misconduct, are entirely without substance.
