Harry Styles hints solo music could be out in April

Harry Styles has hinted his first solo material will be out in April.

The One Direction star posted three blank squares on Instagram, after months of silence on social media.

It’s not the first time the 23-year-old has posted blank squares to make an announcement. In September 2016 he used the tactic to get fans excited about his cover shoot shoot for “AnotherMan” magazine.

Then he appeared in an advert during last night’s semi-final of The Voice UK, which hints at the release date April 7th.

It came within minutes of band mate Liam Payne announcing the birth of his first son with Cheryl.

The advert shows Harry walking on to a spot lit empty stage, before the words “April 7th” appear on screen. A piano tune plays in the background.

Fans have been been using the hashtag #HS1iscoming to share their excitement.
