Miley Cyrus enjoys girls’ night out at NY Knicks basketball game after slamming ‘sexist’ Donald Trump

Miley Cyrus kept it cool and casual as she nailed her colours to the mast and showed her support for the New York Knicks on Saturday evening.

The Wrecking Ball singer was spotted with her mum Tish, sister Brandi and some friends as they attended a basketball game at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple this weekend.

Miley stepped out in a pair of ripped denim jeans and a Knicks jersey, and she seemed in great spirits despite the team being bested by the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-93.

It comes hours after the passionate star hit out at Republican politician Donald Trump and branded him “sexist” over comments he made about fellow candidate Ted Cruz ‘s wife.

She shared a meme featuring an unflattering picture of Ted’s partner Heidi, alongside a picture of Melania Trump.

Donald had retweeted the image after threatening to ‘spill the beans’ on her after a committee backing Cruz released an advert showing his own wife, Melania, naked.

Miley captioned her post: “Trump can’t stop won’t stop saying stupid a** sexist s***!!!! Comparing two women! Are you f****** kidding! We will not allow you to destroy everything we have overcome as women! I feel as though we are stronger than ever as a unit.

“We have an understanding and respect for one another (more than trump can say about anyone, his fellow candidates, other races and religions , other public figures , just HUMAN BEINGS in general, and of course animals!
